Street Prints Mauao 2015 / 2017
International Street Art Festival Tauranga

Street Prints Mauao’s name is inspired by ‘Street Prints’ the imagery of leaving artistic footprints throughout the Streets and Mount Maunganui’s main mountain ‘Mauao’ (translation: ‘Caught by the dawn’ – a proud symbol of Tauranga’s mana (prestige & respect) and rich history and resource) to express the joining of art, land and sea and, by extension, to symbolise all aspects of street art being apart of the community and the community being apart of street art.
